Donna’s Dawn-to-Dusk Recipe for Radiance

When people meet Donna for the first time, many of them are astonished to find that she’s “walking on sunshine” almost all the time 🙂 This leads them to ask, “Is Donna’s joy real?” The answer is YES and the exhilarating, joyful energies of the Radiant Circuits is a BIG reason why! Donna even has her own “Recipe for Radiance!” We’re sharing some of the key ingredients in her recipe below and we ask for just one thing in return -- we’d love for you to use these elements as your inspiration to design a custom Radiance Recipe of your own!

Radiant Dawn

  • Do a rejuvenating stretch before getting out of bed in the morning. Start by draping your legs over the edge of the bed. Then raise your arms to the ceiling. Stretch your arms as far as you can while you wiggle your fingers and toes and take 3 deep breaths. This creates space in your body for energy to move freely.
  • Lie in bed and take a moment to visualize and bring your awareness to the possibility of good things coming your way during the day.
  • Feel gratitude for the things that are going well in your life. This can be as simple as being thankful for easy access to clean water or the warm fuzzy feeling you get when you hug your beloved pet. Let yourself experience this feeling of gratitude in your body, heart and mind.

Radiant Day

  • Give yourself a pick-me-up and overcome a mid-afternoon slump with the Daily Energy Routine (you can watch Donna and follow along here).
  • Take 3 deep breaths and feel the effects of the refreshing oxygen flowing through your body.
  • Look out the window and see if you can focus on something beautiful and uplifting in nature. Maybe you’ll catch sight of a gorgeous butterfly amongst the flowers in your garden or notice the brilliant white clouds floating lazily across a clear, blue sky.

Radiant Dusk

  • Spend a minute or two connecting with heaven -- essentially something greater than yourself. You could choose to pray, chant a mantra or do a practice like Heaven Rushing In (Donna shows you how to do that here).
  • Read or watch something inspirational or motivational just before bedtime.
  • Reflect on the blessings you’ve received throughout the day. You can simply say what it is to yourself or better yet -- write a list in your journal.
